Liturgy Writing 2, Requirement 3a
Write two prayers, one each for two of the following occasions (no minimum word count):
- opening a Grove business meeting
- before casting a ballot in an election
- before a job interview
- to protect a soldier at war
- for a child's first day at school
- for blessing a house
A Prayer for Opening a Business Meeting
Ogmios is the god of eloquence in Gaulish myth. This prayer is to him.
Ogmios, today we come together as a Grove
We pray as one that we may have strong voices
as well as quiet respect for the voices of others.
Let our work today be inspired and joyful.
Let our words today be tempered and loving.
Let our vision be present in all that we do.
Ogmios, be with us today.
