Segoi: The Nine Pagan Virtues

In re-working the ADF Dedicant Path, I have completed another requirement: re-writing the Nine Pagan Virtues essays for the DP. Included here are a variety of quotes about the various virtues, a mythological interpretation of the Virtues, and some brief sources. I have been working on this essay for over a year now, and I really like how it came out. . .

Report on Discordian Cleansing Rituals

As with many things, old government reports sometimes just "come to light," don't they? This one is no exception. Found in a secret government vault and just now released to the public, and provided for your eyes only. . .

Magic 2 passed!

Magic 2 is a continuation of the Magic 1 course from GSP 1, and begins moving us away from the magician's place in the IE world and into the practical world of working with your own relationships with the Powers, self-examination, magic in ritual, and demonstrating your competency with magical skills.

The MK VII Gas Mask Bag

The MK VII Gas Mask Bag (aka MK VII Respirator Bag) is the bag used by Indiana Jones in the movies by the same name. It's a great bag for holding all things that bring fortune and glory. I recently acquired a MK VII (Mark Seven) gas mask bag from What Price Glory. The bag itself is in unissued condition, and was made in 1942. Since I had a devil of a time locating photos of this particular bag online, I thought I should add it to my own webpages for other Indy fans who might want to find one (or make one of their own).

The Marriage of Lugus and Rosmerta

Written for the Three Cranes Grove, ADF, 2007 Summer Solstice ritual, this poem was written more as the script for a play than anything else. While the poem was recited, actors portrayed the parts of Lugus and Rosmerta (and a few warriors). It was designed mostly to simply tell the story (as best as can be reconstructed)

Fly Divination

While digging through old journals, I found this divination method written on a hot summer's day. It's simple, but amusingly effective. . . sort of like tea leaves, but more. . . organic.

A Short Public Devotional

At ComFest in 2006, Three Cranes Grove, ADF, did short devotional rituals every three hours for three days. They were hectic, but they were very, very good for us. In light of ComFest coming up yet again this year, I wanted to post this, and explain a bit about it. . .

A Simple Self-Blessing Rite

The first of the rites from "The Fire of Piety", this rite is a simple self-blessing ritual designed for beginners, and particularly designed without need for tools or offerings. The idea to make it not need either tools or offerings was so that those without access could still do the rite.
