April 11, 2005 - Lives saved

As I lit a candle to thank a goddess who saved two lives today, lives nearly extinguished, I noticed something.

When I turned back from putting out the match, the candle had burned to an ember.

Suddenly, it burst back into flame before my eyes.

She rekindled those lives.

My prayer re-woke them.
