Crisis Response, Question 3 Describe at least five possible events or situations that may cause an individual to experience a crisis in his or her life. (minimum 100 words) There are many possible events or situations that may lead to crisis, including 1) death of someone close to them, such as a child, parent, or even a pet; 2) involvement in a highly public event that induces stress, such as a major political faux pas; 3) anticipation of an event that causes significant stress, such as a job review, major project, or fear of losing face; 4) being reminded of a previously induced crisis through a trigger, such as meeting someone with a similar face to an attacker or meeting someone with the same name as someone who has hurt them in the past; or 5) major disasters (natural or otherwise) that result in personal tragedy or imagined personal tragedy, such as an earthquake, tsunami, or event like Sept. 11, 2001.
