The Homeric Oracle from the Greek Magical Papyri
PGM 1-148
Translator: Hubert Martin, Jr.
The PGM describes this oracle as similar to a horoscope from today's newspapers, and reading through the responses, it does seem similar. Rather than answering a specific question, it might be good to "roll the dice" and apply the passage to the day ahead.
The verse is indicated by number first, then the dice combination (a six-sided die is rolled three times, and the order of numbers is how you decide which verse applies), followed by the quote, and it's source.
A similar oracle is also available, drawn from a collection of Christian
oracles several centuries later.
The verse will be picked randomly each time you refresh this screen, but I suggest you only check it once per day if you want to use this oracle as it was intended.
Today's verse, specific to you, is:
So says the Homeric Oracle. May it help you!
