I admit, I hate asking for money. So, I'm not really. This site will always remain free and open, and I'll continue to add to it.

But what sort of a host would I be if I didn't allow such hospitality to be repaid? The guest should be allowed to provide recompense, should he or she desire, or so the rules of hospitality indicate.

So, you are under no obligation, but if you decide this site is worthwhile, helpful, or useful, you may feel free to donate. It will be gladly accepted.

What donations pay for:

Hosting this site, primarily: it runs me about $129 per year to host at this level, with this amount of traffic. I have been running the site since February of 2002.

Anything over the hosting bills will go to:

1. Getting to festivals
2. Projects and workshops for others
3. Time writing essays (most of which appear on this site)
4. Other, various and sundry projects

You can also feel free to put something like, "buy yourself a pizza" or "take your girlfriend to dinner" in the donation description, of course. I take direction well.
