Entry 12

M.R.'s Eagle Court of Honor tonight made me think. "Do I deserve the honor?" No. If anyone deserves something, it should be given to them at birth. As you can plainly see from my uniform, I do not have it, so therefore I must not deserve it. I did, however, earn it, with my own sweat and blood. So, in answer, I do not deserve it, but believe I have earned it.

There are basic rights we deserve, according to some great thinkers such as Locke and Jefferson. Life, Liberty, and property (persute of happieness) are those rights. Others may be added or subtracted as seems fit.

The date for my COH is up to 2 people. I don't care of my parents can't make it, so long as K. & K. can. My parents are secondary, and then my Grandparents & other relatives. Then friends and teachers.

I thought about what M. said today. It was his father, not anyone else, who influenced him the most. I find it hard to believe unless I think on a much higher level than I am used to.

I've lost that thought. . . My mind is moving in some odd tangent, just as it often does. this may be my most valuble thing my mind does. I can't control it, however. I need control. . .
