July 14, 2005 - Mazi and friendship

I spent some time today writing letters to Mazi. After yesterday working on Vedic stuff, I had a lot of fun writing her letters. None of them really matched up with the Vedic things I was studying, but it was still nice that things flowed like that.

I miss that girl when she isn't around. She hears a lot of things that no one else does. She's kinda on the outside of my groups of friends, but she's one of the closest I have. The only reason, probably, that she isn't *the* closest is that she isn't here. But she's closer than a lot of friends who are here.

She's been there for me, and I've been there for her. We've seen some tough times. It's amazing how virtual communication can really bring people close.

Thanks, Mazi, for IMing me out of the blue that one day.

All joking aside, I have no idea what I'd do without you.
