November 4, 2004 - Discordian Clergy

Today, I was thinking about Discordian Clergy, thanks in large part to Hearthstone, who posted something on her LJ about such things.

Well, every man, woman, and child on the face of this planet is a Discordian Pope (get your own PopeCard, which is unfortunately not even good for Senior Citizen discounts at TeeJays).

There are also POEE Priests and Chaplains.

We also have Saints and Five Apostles.

But really, authority in the Discordian movement comes from writing Mass Amounts of Shit^TM or else having a Really Cool Website^TM. Also, one may gain authority (and this is the most certain way of doing so) by never existing in the first place.

But when it comes to ADF. . . Geez, I just don't know if clergy is for me.
