November 2, 2004 - Voting, my civic duty

Today was election day. It's always a hard day, really, but I was proud to stand in line for a long time today. People really came out to vote. I have no idea yet what the outcome will be, but I have faith, and faith is what is important on such occasions.

There is a chaos working I did for this election. I posted it yesterday to my LiveJournal in hopes that others would fire the sigil at right. We'll see if that happens.

Anyway, I've done all I can.

I voted, and I read from my Principia Discordia to people who were waiting in line with me. I think I won a few souls for the Babe-Who-Is-Chaos.

Well, probably not, but it was worth a shot at saying.

My quote for the day?

"Voting is better magic than any number of stupid spells or sloppy marketing. Voting proves you love your country, and it proves that you have control over your reality."
