August 04, 2004 - How do I become Clergy?

Yesterday I spent a lot of time thinking about the idea of how one becomes clergy in ADF. I would be applying for an exception, were I to apply today, given the following wording:

Eligible individuals are defined as those who have completed the ADF Dedicant Training Program as published in the New Member's Guide and who have at least two cumulative years of experience in the position of Senior Druid of an ADF grove composed of at least 9 ADF members.

Three Cranes Grove, ADF, has been around for two full years, if you count the year we spent as a Protogrove, during which I was a Grove Organizer, not a Senior Druid. The requirement itself is very specific: you must be a Senior Druid of an ADF Grove with 9 members. I won't fulfill that until 10/25/05.

I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to do this before August '06? It's these small, quiet signs that I shouldn't be doing this that bother me most.
