The Gaulish Pantheon
(as best as I can reconstruct it):
Brigantia:
Cernunnos: A God almost entirely attested to on the
Continent, He seems to be a God who is associated with the sea and sailors.
While his name only appears once in total, Gods with like attributes appear
across Gaul, and thus we can possibly see the name 'Cernunnos' as describing an
entire group of deities with like characteristics: antlers, torcs, sitting with
arms in the orans position. He is often surrounded with animals, including
a ram-headed snake, dogs, bulls, and stags.
[Reference removed, author's request]
Epona:
Horse Goddess.
Esus: (It's best to see my
longer
explanation)
Matres:
Mother Goddesses, Goddess of the river Marne. Not Maiden-Mother-Crone.
Sucellus:
Hammer God
Sequanna:
River goddess, Seine
Tarranis:
Sky God. That's a lightning bolt and a set of bolts under his right
arm. Note the solar wheel in his left hand.
