On Saturday April 2nd 2005, Lincoln held a program to promote awareness and understanding of Pagan religions. Six members of the Ohio State University Pagan Student Association came to answer questions and dispel some of the myths and stereotypes of practitioners of Pagan religions. Residents watched selected clips from the movie "The Craft" to spark discussion about some of the portrayals of Paganism in popular media as well as societal perceptions of followers of Pagan religions. Residents came with an open mind and left with a basic knowledge of some of the various Pagan faiths as well as an appreciation for their own beliefs and those of others.
